Wedding | Bryan+Jodi Prouty

Meet the Prouty’s.

Jodi and Bryan have been a couple of the best kind of clients to work with. I have enjoyed every moment of our time together from engagement photos in the freezing mist to a wedding in the middle of July.

Their wedding took place at Cedar Deer Lodge in Glencoe, OK. The weather, even though it was July, was not actually that bad. There was a nice breeze that kept the day cool, as much as cool can be for Oklahoma. The venue itself is a beautiful setting for a wedding with all kinds of beautiful spots outside. The arbor, the pond, the old truck, the barn, the beautiful landscaping all made for a nice backdrop.

Jodi and Bryan handmade most of the decor including all of the center pieces, all bouquets, corsages and bouts, signs, and more than we probably even know. They included some beautiful details that meant so much to them. One example to watch for— Bryan’s bout was tied up with leather that was in his grandpa’s leather working supplies.

If you know Jodi and Bryan at all, you know that they like to have fun and I expected their wedding to be the same. Bryan wore a horse mask with Jodi on his back for the grand entrance… if that isn’t a good time I don’t know what is. They had to have been exhausted just from smiling and laughing all day long from the fun they were having. There were a few tears shed in happiness, but I have literally never saw a more laid-back couple and bridal party. It was a photographers dream.

Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from the day!
