Oh goodness. Where to start with this day?

I guess we should start off with talking about the rain.

It rained.

A lot. And, for a long time (or seemed like it anyways!)

The wedding was suppose to be outside like Kelsey and Kyle always dreamed it would be and one of the main reasons they selected the beautiful Broken Horn Ranch as their venue. When it seemed the rain would derail their plans, the wonderful Lindsay and her team from Borrowed Charm plus the venue owners got to work drying chairs and sidewalks to make sure the wedding would still happen outside.

And, it ended up being perfect.

Kyle and Kelsey’s wedding was a perfect representation of who they are as a couple right down to the longhorn cake toppers engraved with their brand. The cowhide rug at the alter and beautiful vases of hydrangeas and roses were just icing on the cake for this wedding photographer. A true bride and groom of my ideal client (if that means anything to you! haha)

It always amazes me how I get the best of the best when it comes to clients and Kyle and Kelsey are no different. I am so thankful they picked me to be their wedding photographer and look forward to seeing their lives unfold!

PSA: I can’t say enough good things about the vendor team especially Lindsay with Borrowed Charm. I never worried once about timelines or anything for that matter during the wedding day because Lindsay was always one step ahead of everyone. And, most of all despite everything that went on with the rain and general wedding chaos, she stayed calm and made it all happen! I would highly recommend Lindsay to anyone looking for a wedding coordinator/planner!
